Out here they call it Epiphany Bread, and although it's tasty, and has a baby, it's not nearly decadent enough (no frosting; bread not cinnamon roll).
Maybe next year when the bakeries are up and running ...

Yes, it had colored sugar. The bread was heavily flavored with cardamom, which was kind of nice, but very different.
I will hold you to that sloppyd. Maybe the Feb 19th as a date? Mark it down. I am hosting knitting that afternoon, but it could easily become a knitting, letter writing, NOLA festing event! rachel, wanna make a trip out east?
