a cover i think everyone would agree is good
Death Cab for Cutie closed their show tonight by inviting the Decemberists back on stage for a group singsong of Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way." It was all very Clinton '92. I especially liked the way our posse of 10 women belted out the chorus in unison without even looking at one another in the dark.
It's good to hang out with folks who sing along (and know all the words to) with Fleetwood Mac.

Bee-you-tea-full.
I have a prenatal connection with Fleetwood Mac, they were on the radio in the cab that took my laboring mama to the hospital.
It was so incredible. To hear Ben Gibbard croon, "If I could, baby, I'd give you my world," was a near perfect moment.
And to cap it off with a view of the NYC skyline as I walked through Central Park to make it to my subway station? Priceless. I love living in NYC even if I will never have enough money to ever buy a house or raise children.
Hmm. Proclaiming a Fleetwood Mac cover to be a universally accepted good thing is a bold, bold move. I wont actually contradict you. I can imagine that in the particular context is was just right. Nonetheless, you're playing with fire.
Ahhh, maybe it's just my age, but I was definitely raised on Fleetwood Mac tunes among others.
Uh oh, the fire has ignited:
